Meet the Penn family

We’re Robert and Lauren Penn and we’ve been Frios franchisees since 2018. Our love of unique desserts led us to open a storefront in Denton we lovingly call the “Frios Pop Shack” as it’s a tiny shop with a drive-thru. For years, we’ve catered events and participated in festivals in the North Texas area and enjoy bringing smiles to the faces of those we meet. With the recent addition of the Frios Pop Truck, it’s even easier to bring these amazing desserts to communities in Denton County.

Our daughters have enjoyed being a part of our family business and their favorite flavors are Birthday Cake and Nutella.
